Recreational Courses

Intro to Scuba

Prerequisites: Age 10 or older. Two hour pool session.
Introduction to basic scuba concepts and skills. This is an opportunity to try it out without a larger commitment of time, studying, and cost.
Great for birthdays and events too!

Open Water Scuba Diver

Prerequisites: Age 15 or older. Good health. Able to swim and tread water. Initial certification course.
Multiple classroom and pool sessions to learn about dive physics and physiology, environment, scuba skills and protocols.
Certification awarded after completing four check-out dives. Max depth is 60 feet. Course costs include class materials and use of all equipment.

Refresher Scuba

Prerequisites: Scuba certification. Been inactive?
Up to a four hour pool session to review skills learned in the Open Water Scuba Course.
Can be tailored to address a particular set of skills as well.
Upon completion, your logbook can be signed off.

Advanced Open Water Diver

Prerequisites: Age 15 or older. Scuba certification. Classroom and six open water dives including night, deep to 100', and navigation.
Course costs include class materials and use of all equipment.

Nitrox Diver

Prerequisites: Scuba certification. Learn to use more oxygen (up to 40%) to increase your NDL time, reduce your surface interval, and make your diving safer.
Can be combined with other courses. Classroom only.

Rescue Scuba Diver

Prerequisites: Age 15 or older. Scuba certification. CPR certification. Learn the skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies.

Master Scuba Diver

Prerequisites: Age 15 or older. OW, AOW, Rescue, Nitrox. 75 logged dives. Expansive understanding of a wide range of recreational scuba topics. Eight dives including emergency procedures and rescue, deep, night, navigation, and search and recovery.

Universal Referral

This program is combined with the Open Water Scuba Course. Complete the academic and pool sessions here. Finish your check-out dives at your travel destination.
